5th Circuit Court of Appeals

Though still an active government building, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit is now a National Historic Landmark because of the role its judges played in handing down momentous decisions in favor of school integration. Scheduled tours of the courthouse are offered through its website.
