    At the Old Courthouse, visitors can explore where landmark cases in our nation’s civil rights history were tried. Experience the site where Dred and Harriet Scott sued for freedom from slavery and Virginia Minor argued for a woman’s right to vote under the 14th Amendment. Visitors can also enjoy the iconic Gateway Arch, which provides a magnificent backdrop for the Old Courthouse and is located just two blocks away.
